I love this print campaign for French pet hygiene business Biocanina. They captured the characters so well … That first pooch is so unimpressed.
Let’s continue on with this food-themed week, shall we? Here‘s a little something to get your mouths watering – delightfully delicious cookies, and their equally delectable packaging!
February is a time for birthdays, and what better paper to wrap a gift in than these lovely sheets from esme winter? I am completely in love – the hard part now is just deciding which to choose!
I didn’t think that Melbourne could get any cooler than it already is, but the release of AÃRK Collective this week has proven me wrong. Melbourne, you are just fit to burst with so many talented folk! I can’t keep up!
There are a couple of things I like about these watches. Number one is that they remind me of a beautiful classic watch my dad bought from Japan when he was my age. My sister wore that watch for months even after it was broken beyond repair. Secondly, they have rad names like “Yolk” and “White Peach”. Thirdly, that website – and all their design, in fact – is just one of those oh-man-I-wish-I’d-designed-that kind of moments.
Plus they do free shipping for us here in Australia. And it does not get any better than that.
What do you get when you mash up Aladdin with Swedish simplicity? Oyyo. It’s a wonderful new design studio run by two cute Swedes who aspire to releasing only a couple of new textile products per year. Their first collection is a magic carpet ride; six original dhurries handwoven by a little community of craftspeople near Jodhpur, India’s Blue City.

Earlier this week I posted about The Company You Keep, one of the (many) design studios in Melbourne that gets my heart racing. Sweet Greek is a recent project from another of my favourite Melbourne studios – Studio Brave. I am seriously crushing on this identity. That deep, Greek blue, those stamped business cards – plus my mouth starts to water when I think of what delicacies might be hidden in that lovely white box! Perhaps my next holiday should be to the Greek islands?
